The Craig County Board of Supervisors continued their March 7 meeting to March 21 at 5:30 p.m. for a work session on the fiscal year 2024 budget. All meetings are held at the Craig County Courthouse.

Other dates of note are:

April 4 at 4:30 p.m., the supervisors will hold another budget work session. The regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors begins at 6 p.m., with a 6:30 budget work session scheduled to be held jointly with the Craig County School Board.

April 18 at 6 p.m., the supervisors will hold a work session on the budget if necessary. The supervisors have also scheduled a public hearing on the budget and the proposed tax rate, along with an ordinance to adopt the tax rate.

On May 2 the Board of Supervisors will hold its regular meeting and expects to approve the FY 2024 budget at that time.

This information is from the Board of Supervisors agenda packet for the March 7 meeting and is subject to change.
