The Girl Scouts of Craig County proudly shared their news that the cookie sales started Dec. 11 and they are anxious for everyone to start ordering. Also, they meet the second Friday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at last Lasterday’s Market. Girls from kindergarten to 12th grade can join.

This year’s choices are Lemon-Ups, Trefoils, Do-si-dos, Girl Scout S’mores, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Girl Scout S’mores, Toffee-tastics and Adventurefuls. Contact any Girl Scout, Angie Spence or Shelby Crotts on Facebook. Those who are interested can also order from them online. Sales end March 18. They are $6/box. This is the number one avenue they have in raising funds to help them buy badges, pay for their meeting needs and to help offset any trips they may be able to take.
