The Salem-Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame inducted the Class of ’23 on Sunday after co-sponsoring “The Last Inning” games on Saturday along with the Salem Red Sox. The Hall of Fame’s Class of ’23, along with guest speaker Abe Naff, includes, left to right; Reggie Poff, Matt Trent, Nick Jones, speaker Naff, Randy Lawrence and Roy Clark. On Saturday the Hall of Fame announced that Cave Spring’s Trey Ludy has been named the Ray Bellamy Award winner as the top high school player in the Hall of Fame’s coverage area. Here Hall of Fame vice president Gary Walthall presents Ludy with a plaque between games of “The Last Inning” doubleheader for high school seniors at Salem Memorial Ballpark Saturday.
