William Robert “W.R.” Tripp, 32 of New Castle, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019. W.R. was born September 3, 1987 in Blacksburg, VA. He was a beloved son, brother, and grandson, a loving father, and a tremendous friend. He enjoyed farming, working with cattle, and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Earl & Ruth Huffman, Ned & Pauline Dowdy, Oris & Pearl Johnson; grandfather, Norris L. Tripp; special great-uncles and aunt, H.T. & Jane Hurd and R. Hale Dowdy.
He is survived by parents, Robert L. & Shari H. Tripp; daughter, Kenadee Tripp and her mother Heather Stover; sister & brother-in-law, Justin & Ashlei Barham; grandparents, W.O. “Chuck” & Peggy Huffman; grandmother, Violet Tripp; nephews, Oscar & Gunner Barham; special cousins, Joseph & Matthew Dowdy; special friends, Ricky Williams & Myra Williams.
Funeral Services were held 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Paitsel Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Altizer officiating. The family received friends from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday, October 29, 2019.
