Kenneth H. Ratliff, 85 of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 5. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lillie Ratliff; two brothers, Raymond and Russell Ratliff; and two sisters, Evelyn Lipes and Marlene Dudding.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Ratliff; son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Terry Ratliff; daughter and son-in-law Rhonda and Eddie Huffman; daughters, Patricia and Pam Ratliff; grandchildren, Brandon and Chris Ratliff, Matthew and Cassondra Ratliff, Brittany and Jeffrey Bryant, Tommy and Whitney Huffman, David and Kristin Huffman, Kara Booth, Michael Robertson, Meghan and Nathan Day; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Tiffany Ratliff, Kaylnn and Kayne Ratliff, Austin and Ryan Huffman, Avery, Gracie and Parker Huffman, George Negron, William and Illeana Sanders; brother, Junior Ratliff; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Bertha Ratliff; sister and brother-in-law Anna and Bobby Sowers; sisters, Betty Flinchum and Mary Ann Ratliff; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Graveside Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, at Williams Cemetery in Newport, VA. Arrangements were by Paitsel Funeral Home. www.paitselfh.com
