Donna Marie Hurley, 67 of New Castle, went to her eternal home in Heaven on November 15, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Letta England, father Owen England, brother Michael England and sister Debbie England.
She is survived by her loving husband Roy Hurley of 43 years, daughters Debbie and Charles Hearn, Lori and Donnie Wayne Fisher of New Castle and son Roy Wimer of Bucyrus, Ohio. Special grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Brandon and Morgan, Lita, Lauren, Krista and Zach, Kendall, Hannah, James and Trever. Special nephews Jason and Kelly England, Michael and Lauren England and numerous other nieces and nephews. Brothers Jimmy and Brian England, and best friend of many years, Sarah Brant.
The family would like to thank Jack from Carilion Hospice and caregivers Melissa Wren, Carolyn Harless and Tammy Campbell for caring for their wife and mother.
Funeral services were held at Craig Valley Gospel Church, 1574 Upper Craig’s Creek Rd, in Catawba on Tuesday, November 20, at 12:00 PM. Interment followed after the service at Windy Hill Cemetery, 3512 Dillon’s Mill Rd, in Calloway, Virginia. Family and friends were asked to gather on Monday, November 21, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a viewing and celebration of life at Craig’s Valley Gospel Church.
