Autumn Huffman was fifth in the discus in the state track meet.
It was a rainy day in Elkton Saturday as Auburn High School swept the boys and girls title in the Class 1 track meet.
The Craig County finished 26th in the meet, led by a fifth place finish by Autumn Huffman in the discus event. Autumn heaved the disc 108’ 10”, and she was also 12th in the shot put.
Lynsey Taylor also scored in the state meet for the Rockets. She was eighth in the 3,200 with a time of 12:58.17 and just missed scoring in the 1,600 with a ninth place finish.
The Craig boys did not score, but Ben Deplazes competed and had two personal bests in the meet. Ben was 10th in the 110 Hurdles with a time of 18.19 and 11th in the 300 Hurdles at 44.38.
