The Craig County soccer team traveled to Covington last week for a Pioneer District match and dropped a 6-1 decision on the Cougars’ pitch.
Freshman Clayton Owens scored the lone goal for the Rockets off an assist from Cody Hutchinson. Andrew Kendall had nine saves in the goal for Craig.
Now 0-4, the Rockets were scheduled to play at Narrows on Tuesday but results were too late for publication. The Rockets have a home game Friday with Pocahontas.
