The Craig County High School sports teams were off for spring break last week, and the scheduled return for baseball and softball had a familiar theme. Both teams had games called on Monday due to inclement weather.

Both teams were scheduled to play at Covington on Monday but those games were rescheduled for May 14. The Rocket softball team has yet to play a single game since the spring sports season opened on March 12.

Pleasant weather is forecasted for Thursday as three Craig teams are scheduled to take the field. The baseball, softball and soccer teams will all host Parry McCluer in contests scheduled for 5:30 pm. The softball team is at Christiansburg on Friday and the track team will be participating in a meet at Radford High School on Friday.
