Sidney Arnold Harry, 84, of New Castle, born on March 18, 1933, passed away at his home on Friday, March 2.
Mr. Harry retired from Salem Frame and was the owner of the Bread Basket Restaurant for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Irene Rock Harry; parents Peter H. and Annie Davis Harry; brothers Herman, Otis and Lacy; sisters Gladys Givens, Blanche Gautier and Opal Lawson; as well as two infant siblings.
He is survived by his children Cindy Dudley and husband Jeff of Clifton Forge, Rita Stebar and husband Bob of New Castle and Justin Harry and wife Debra of New Castle; five grandchildren Lydia and Reece Stebar, Heidi Harry, Stacey Miller and Clay Lucas; one great-grandchild Payton Keen; three brothers Willard Harry and wife Dell, Billy Harry, and Larry Harry and wife Linda; two sisters Shirley Miller and Betty Stallard; brother-in-law Melvin Rock and wife Jean.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at Paitsel Funeral Home with Pastors Don Brown and Cody Rader officiating. Interment followed at the Waiteville Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018, at Paitsel Funeral Home. www.paitselfh.com.
