The Forks of John’s Creek Christian Church will honor its past and present members who served their country through military service with a special program on Sunday, November 12, at 10:00 a.m. A slide presentation, with background music, will feature pictures of current and past members in their service uniforms.
A tribute luncheon sponsored and served by the Church Youth will follow the morning services in the Church Fellowship Hall. Minister Bill Frazier said, “It is a great honor and a privilege for us to recognize the sacrifices and hardships these men and women endured in serving their country. We are so proud of our veterans and we wish to show them our gratitude for the price they paid in protecting America.”
Members wishing to include relatives in the slide presentation, who have served in the past or who are currently serving, should send pictures and information to Dale King at king@lr.edu by Friday, November 3.
