Craig County will be the host team for the Pioneer District cross country meet, which will be held today at the Fenwick Mines course.
All seven Pioneer District teams will run in the race. In addition to host Craig, there will be teams from Highland County, Parry McCluer, Bath County, Covington, Narrows and Eastern Montgomery.
The Fenwick Mines course was the site of a regular season meet last week. Craig County’s Lynsey Taylor was the individual winner and Alexis Andrews came in fourth overall. Senior Dalton Frango ran a time of 20 minutes flat for the boys.
