A chlorine leaked at Radford’s water treatment plant forced a temporary shutdown and evacuation of the facility on Thursday.
According to city spokesperson Jenni Wilder, the plant was back up and running by 4:30 p.m.
Water Plant and Fire Department responded and cleaned up the leak and repaired the broken line. There are no long-term affects to the Water Plant, the plant is operating as normal.
