The New Castle Garden Club booth at Saturday’s Fall Festival will feature a silent auction of some unique handmade items.
Gourds hand painted by Haddi Miller and a bright red bird feeder will go to the highest bidder at the booth, which will be set up opposite the Old Brick Hotel. The traditional basket full of bulbs, gloves and many other gardening related items will be raffled off at the end of the Festival. Proceeds will benefit maintenance of gardens at the Hawkins cabin, the Post Office and other projects.
