The flags of the United States of America and the Virginia State Flag fly proudly at the Craig County Public Schools.

On Tuesday, September 5, Delegate Greg Habeeb presented flags to both the Craig County High School and McCleary and Middle Schools. “We were honored to have him represent our district and donate flags to both of our schools,” Bo Trumbo, a history teacher, shared. He was the liaison in arranging the event.

Both Gerri VanDyke, principal for McCleary and Middle Schools and Gennifer Miller, principal for the high school, were very appreciative, accepting the flags with smiles and gratitude from the students and staff. “We will make sure these flags are posted very soon,” Gennifer said.

“We needed new flags at both schools,” Trumbo shared. “Habeeb secured new flags which have been flown over the capital building in Richmond.”

Delegate Greg Habeeb is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 8th District, which includes the City of Salem, Craig County and parts of Roanoke and Montgomery Counties.
