Former Salem Spartans Zach Hoyt, Coleman Fox, and Colton Taylor are members of the 2017 Hokies.

Also, department officials announced that a limited number of student season tickets will go on sale Aug. 28 at 10 am, which marks the first day of classes for the fall semester. Less than 1,000 student season tickets remain.

Individual game tickets for the Delaware and Old Dominion games went on sale to Hokie Club members at the top three levels – the Hokie Ambassador, Hokie Scholar and Hokie Stone levels – on Tuesday morning.  On Wednesday at 10 a.m., remaining Hokie Club members and current season ticket holders may purchase Delaware and Old Dominion individual game tickets. If available, individual game tickets to these games then will be opened to the general public on Thursday at 10 am.

Individual game tickets for the Hokies’ conference games are not available at this time. Department officials also want to remind fans that no individual game tickets will be available for the Hokies’ Sept. 30 game against defending national champion Clemson, though season tickets remain on sale ($350 per ticket for six home games) and guarantees one’s seat at this game. A season ticket stands as the best value to watch the Hokies this fall, and purchasing one provides such benefits as Hokie Club priority points, seat selection and the same seats for each home game, access to in-game messages on the video board, access to other ticket options prior to the general public, and more.

In addition, the Coastal Division mini plan remains on sale. This mini plan provides a ticket to the Hokies’ three Coastal Division games (North Carolina, Duke and Pittsburgh) for just $180. The Coastal Division mini plan provides better pricing for Tech fans over individual game tickets. Also, mini-plan seats will be in the same location for all three games.

For more information on Virginia Tech’s football ticket inventory, please check out www.hokietickets.com, or call the Tech Athletics Ticket Office at 540-231-6731 or at 1-800-VA TECH4.
