Catawba Valley Farmers Market – 3:30 to 7:00 p.m., at Catawba Community Center. LOCAL meats, eggs, vegetables, fruits, honey, baked goods including breads, cakes, cookies & scones. Watch fried pies being made. Plants, potted flowers, wildflowers. Handmade arts & crafts. Music on occasion. Each week, SNAP personnel will demonstrate simple inexpensive recipes on ways to incorporate fresh foods from the farmers market into family dinners. SNAP/EBT cards accepted. A new submerged is coming to Mt. View Baptist Church, 5714 Catawba Creek Coad, Catawaba, VA, and everyone is invited. There will be pizza on Saturday and a cookout on Sunday. There will also be music, crafts, water games, a dunking booth and much more! The person who brings the most visitors will win the Sunken Treasure Chest. Memorize the most verses for the best shot to submerge the pastor. Bring a towel and your imagination!

An effort in treating the epidemic of Domestic Violence & Intimate Partner Violence. Learn more about why victims stay in domestic violence situations. Craig Valley Baptist Church will be having its Vacation Bible School from 6-8:30 p.m. It’s for ages three-years-old to fifth grade. Offerings will be used for Operation Christmas Child. Family fun night will be held on Friday night.
