The Craig County baseball team will celebrate “Senior Night” Friday when the Rockets take on Auburn in a non-district game. Chad Ryan is the only senior on the team.
The Rockets would like to build some momentum this week with the Conference 45 tournament scheduled to begin next week. Craig has three games this week, at Covington Monday, at Narrows Thursday and the Auburn game at home on Friday.
The Rockets are 2-9 after losing to Covington in New Castle last week, 19-3 in five innings. Dakota Henderson and Jesse Brizendine split time on the mound.
Devin Hutchison, Jake Robertson and Kyle Sloss had hits for the Rockets. Hutchison and Sloss scored runs and Robertson drove in two.
