New Craig County football coach Mark Harrison knows how important it is to be strong on the football field, and he’s making a competition out of the off-season lifting program with his “Rocket Barbell Lifter of the Month” award.
Each month one player will be chosen for this award based on exceptional work ethic and dedication to the weight room. Also, the annual Dave Williams Award will be presented at the end of every year to the player who has achieved a lifter of the month award as well as maintained good grades and good standing within the community. The first “Lifter of the Month” at Craig County is Dalton Henderson. Each month the award winner will be pictured in the New Castle Record sports section.
