The All-Pioneer District football team was recently announced and Craig County was well-represented in light of a winless season.

Craig had four boys named to the All-Pioneer team.

Two Rockets were named to the second team defense, and both are just freshmen. Chase Huffman was named as a down lineman and Dakota Henderson was second team at linebacker.

Two more Rockets received honorable mention, one on offense and one on defense. Junior Jacob Bradford was selected at linebacker and Dalton McPherson, a sophomore, was named at wide receiver.

Parry McCluer’s KJ Cook was named the offensive Player of the Year and Tyler Jones, of Covington, is the Defensive Player of the Year. Mike Craft of Parry McCluer was named Coach of the Year.
