FINCASTLE – Appalachian Power Co. (APCo) has scheduled a power outage that will affect most of the Town of Fincastle on Wednesday, Aug. 14 beginning at 8:30 a.m. and lasting until as late as 6:20 p.m.
According to APCo officials, there is a power pole at the corner of Springwood Road and Main Street that will have to be de-electrified in order to work on it.
