The show runs Thursdays-Saturdays, May 13, 14, 15 and 20, 21, 22 at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday matinees at 2:30 p.m.

“Angel Street” is a Broadway hit that was first produced in London under the title “Gaslight.” It has been filmed twice.

The play tells the story of the Manninghams who live on Angel Street in the 19th century.

Mr. Manningham, a cruel, manipulative husband, is slowly torturing his gentle, devoted wife Bella into insanity to suit his own needs.  Will he succeed or will Inspector Rough of Scotland Yard stop him and in the process prove Mr. Manningham to be guilty of other crimes?

The secret of the dimming gaslight and the mystery of the hidden rubies will captivate all in this thrilling evening of suspense, Attic Productions says.

Ticket are $12 adults, $10 seniors/students and $9 each for groups of 10 or more. Reservations are advised and may be made by calling 473-1001.

Ticket office hours are Monday and Wednesdays, 3-7 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The theater is located at 4790 Roanoke Road (US 220), just south of Fincastle.
