When Acoustic Endeavors takes the stage at Buchanan Theater Saturday night, the popular bluegrass group will be celebrating its 15th anniversary as part of the Buchanan Arts Series.

The group is celebrating that milestone with a new song, too, one dedicated to the small town that has remade itself in those 15 years. It is appropriately titled “Buchanan By The James” and was written by lead vocalist and mandolin player Warren Amberson.

Acoustic Endeavors band members include (from left) Kelly Green, John Lawless, Greg Honeycut, Warren Amberson and Dewey Peters. The band will be celebrating its 15th anniversary of playing at Buchanan Theater Saturday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
