Members of the Craig Valley Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution dedicated and unveiled an America250! Patriot Marker on June 20 at the Craig County Courthouse. The marker honors American Revolutionary War patriots who lived and died in the area and is one of several installed across Virginia. The project was supported by the Craig County Board of Supervisors, Farmers & Merchants Bank and other community members. Participants in the dedication ceremony included VFW Post 4491, bagpiper Bert Mitchell and Karen Finch, DAR District VII director.
