The Craig County track team will be at Blacksburg High today for a very competitive meet. Craig will likely be the smallest school there, but coach Jayke Dowdy is excited for the opportunity.
“Going to be going up against some juggernauts and I’m hoping the kids pick up some things,” said Dowdy. “I coached with the Blacksburg sprints coach and some of the Pulaski track coaches when I did football there. Tons of my former students are on the Pulaski team, too. Should be a cool day”
The Rockets are scheduled to run at Lord Botetourt a week from today, on Wednesday, May 6th.
