Craig County Public Schools has recognized Systems Administrator Alex Ward as its March Employee of the Month, citing his behind-the-scenes contributions and positive attitude.
Ward plays a key role in keeping the division’s technology running smoothly and is instrumental in ensuring School Board meetings operate without issue. Often working out of the spotlight, his efforts help support both daily operations and major events across the school system, the division said.
Colleagues describe Ward as consistently positive and willing to step in wherever needed, making him a reliable team member across departments.
School officials expressed appreciation for his dedication, teamwork and can do approach, noting that his work has a meaningful impact on the division each day.
