The Department of Social Services Board will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Court Street in New Castle.
Community event:
The 6th Annual Church Community Chili Cook-Off will be held at Grace Baptist church at 159 Old Railroad Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 5-7 p.m.
Ongoing:
Feeding southwest Virgnia will be offering food twice a month on the second and third Wednesday of the month from 3-5 p.m. and 4-5 p.m., respectively. All community members are welcome to purchase fresh produce and other canned and boxed items. EBT recipients receive 50% off their fruits and vegetables.
Booster Club of Craig Schools meet on the third Monday of each month in the school cafeteria at 6 p.m. Community members are encouraged to attend and to join to support the kids of Craig County as they need the participation of more people.
