Last week’s snowstorm wiped out the Craig County High School basketball schedule, as all games last week were postponed or cancelled. The Rockets are hoping to get their games in this week with better weather predicted.
The Craig girls were scheduled to play at Narrows on Monday of this week with the boys hosting the Green Wave on Tuesday. Then, on Friday, the boys are at Bath County and the girls are at home against Eastern Montgomery.
Next Monday, January 29, the Craig girls will be at East Mont for a 6 pm “varsity only” game, and next Tuesday the boys will host the Mustangs for a jayvee-varsity doubleheader in New Castle. The Rockets will begin February with the boys at Parry McCluer and the girls hosting the Blues on Thursday, February 1.
All this, of course, is “weather permitting.”
