McCleary Elementary hosted a unique bingo night on Nov. 16, where students played to win books. The turnout was great, and the atmosphere was electric, hearing kids yell out their “bingo” and run to the book tables.
The fun part of the evening was getting to use M&M’s and Skittles as the bingo card cover ups. Several had to get more “bingo pieces” as they went fast.
Many students won more than one book and even picked out books for other classmates that were unable to attend, as Mae did.
