Pursuant to Section 15.2-2506 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given of the public hearing to be held by New Castle Town Council on the proposed budget for Fiscal Year
July 1, 2023- June 30, 2024. The hearing to receive public comments is scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2023 at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible in the NEW CASTLE TOWN HALL – 339 Market Street.

Pursuant to Virginia Code Section 58.1-3005, 58.1-3000, 58.1-3506B, and 58.1-3008 the proposed tax levies per $100 of assessed value are Real Estate & Mobile Homes $0.04, Merchants Capital $0.50,
No change in tax levies from previous budget year.
