Geneva Belle Wright Abbott, 88, widow of Jack Hale Abbott, died on Sunday, April 26, at Covenant Place.
Born in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Hezzie Franklin Wright and Gracie Belle Switzer Wright.
Surviving are five children, Phillip H. (Norma) Abbott, Donna A. (Lee) Arritt, Thomas D. (Valerie) Abbott, Anthony C. Abbott (Rebecca Hettmansperger) and Randy W. Abbott; two sisters, Emma Donahue and Joyce Slaydon; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Wright and Ashby Wright and two sisters, Inas Loan and Dorothy Tingler.
Private services will be held at a later date.
