Dreama “Diane” Wyrick, 62, of Salem, formerly of New Castle, passed away on February 4, 2020. She was born on August 4, 1957, in New Castle. Diane deeply loved gardening, and found great joy in the flowers and vegetables she took such good care of in all seasons of life. Occupationally, she was a dedicated caregiver for several facilities over the years, as well as for numerous elderly clients throughout the valley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lena Switzer-Cocke and Franklin Caldwell; spouse, Steven Butler; and a son, Dustin Huffman.
Lovingly, she is survived by her son, Christopher “Ray” Caldwell; sister, Beverly Long; grandchildren, Amethyst Wright and Elliot Mullen, family friends, “Deb” Brooks and Jessica Wright, along with many other friends and family who love and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at a later date.
