The Planning Commission Public Hearing will begin at 6:00 pm (or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard) at the Craig County Courthouse in New Castle, Virginia, to consider the application of David Gilley for a “Use Not Provided For” permit to allow him to hold a two day Southern Virginia Bike Rally with live music, vendors and camping, August 23rd and 24th, 2019. (Tax map #86-A-14) This parcel is zoned RR, Rural Residential and is located at 3671 Craig Valley Drive and Abbott Circle, (Old Abbott’s Store) New Castle, VA 24127. The property contains 7.55 acres and is located in the Craig Creek District on the right side of State Route 311 approximately 6 miles south of the Town of New Castle in Craig County. Immediately following the Planning Commission Public Hearing the Board of Supervisors will conduct a Public Hearing on the same matter.
