Florene Kendall Watts, 91 of New Castle, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, July 19. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Daniel Watts, Sr. ; parents, Floyd W. & Frances Ager Kendall; brothers, Bill Kendall and Bob (Phyllis) Kendall; grandsons Steven & Jody Neal.
She is survived by daughters, Wanda Yopp and Kathryn Barker; granddaughters, Connie Richards, and Rebecca Hayslett; great-granddaughters, Kristen Ledine, Emma Richards, and Olivia Richards; brothers Donald (Carolyn), Danny (Betty), Jimmy (Debbie), Teddy, and Gene (Mary) Kendall; sisters, Nancy (Junior) Midkiff, Vickey (Eugene) Maxey, Mary Harris, and Ruth (Mike) Britt; and numerous other relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, at the New Castle United Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Stacy officiating. She will be privately interred at East Hill Cemetery in Bristol, Tennessee. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Hill Cemetery c/o Jerry Eggers PO Box 1314 Abingdon, VA 24212 or New Castle United Methodist Church Building Fund.
