It is often said that two heads are better than one. IGA Express Citgo and Food Country USA are proving that small town businesses can grow and work together very well, offering their citizens even more incentives.
Since Mick or Mack IGA closed its doors, Food Country USA has stepped in and tried to fill the big shoes of the loved hometown grocery store.
Food Country had continued with the red and white striped IGA Gas Card, even after they had bought the company.
“The good news is that ‘Gas Cash’ is coming back to New Castle,” Mike Carper, proprietor of IGA Express, said. “Food Country USA is kicking off their ‘Gas Cash’ program, with a new Food Country USA Customer Rewards Card.”
The card and Gas Cash program will work just as it did with the Mick or Mack IGA.
Customers earn one percent back in fuel ‘Gas Cash’ coupons when they purchase groceries at Food Country USA, to use at IGA Express CITGO exclusively.
“To kick-off, the new Food Country USA Customer Rewards Card, IGA Express CITGO and Food Country USA will double all ‘Gas Cash’ coupons issued on purchases at Food Country USA on Saturday, December 22 and Sunday, December 23,” Carper shared. “This is a huge saving to customers on fuel and groceries.”
The old IGA Card will continue to work thru this transition. However, the new cards are awaiting customers at Food Country. The cashiers will activate the card for you.
Carper said that even more good news is that “the ‘Gas Cash’ coupons and Club CITGO digital coupons can be combined for more savings at the pump.”
Both IGA Express Citgo and Food Country USA encourage their customers to also look for more specials in the future.
Said one loyal customer: “It seems like a little Christmas present early!”
