The annual New Castle Garden Club picnic was recently held with eleven members and guests attending.
Held practically every August for most of the 79 years of the club’s history, this year’s potluck picnic was enjoyed at the Craig Valley Baptist Church pavilion with lovely summer weather and delicious food. A plant, seed and vegetable exchange has become a picnic tradition. Herb clippings, daffodil bulbs and fresh vegetables were shared by those who attended.
