It is common knowledge that reading aloud to children positively impacts behavior and learning skills.
Today, it is so easy to become a distracted parent and focus on electronics rather than the child. Isn’t it interesting how young children are attracted to electronic devices? Giving them their own device for entertainment results in double distraction but will never feed social skills as interactive reading can. The Craig Library has books for all ages including classics, series and new titles. Come on in and let your children browse our collection. Borrowing, returning and sharing books helps children grow and explore.
Here are some of our recent additions for children:
I’ve Loved you Since Forever by Koth and Mason
Drawing Animals by Rodriguez and Beaudenon
Cuddled and Carried by Michaels and Speiser
Babies Nurse by Fox
The Saved Seed by Moore and Lackey
Turtles all the Way Down by John Green
Middle School from Hero to Zero by James Patterson
