Craig County’s Morgan Sowers recently helped the Bridgewater IDA (Intercollegiate Dressage Association) team to a second-place finish in the regional standings behind Emory & Henry College.
The Bridgewater IDA team qualified for the IDA National Show and Morgan was a part of that team. She also qualified to compete as an individual at the IDA Nationals in the Lower Training division.
At the IDA Nationals, hosted by Lake Erie College, Bridgewater placed seventh out of 12 teams. Morgan competed in the team competition in Lower Training and placed seventh.
In the individual competition at IDA Nationals, Morgan placed 12th in Lower Training.
