The Craig County High School track team ran in the All-American Relays at Radford High School last Friday and had some good performances. There were 33 teams competing, many from 2A and 3A schools.
“We had a lot of Personal Records at this meet,” said Craig coach Melissa Hubbard.
Craig’s Lynsey Taylor placed 13th in the 1600 with a time of 6:04.19 while Brianna Charlton was 19th in the 100 at 14.23.
Personal records on the day included the following: Boys Triple Jump-Camron Fisher 35-11.00 and Ben Deplazes 34-10.50 PR; Boys Long Jump-Fisher 18-05.00 and Deplazes 18-03.75; Boys 800m-Dalton Frango 2:34.81; Boys 100m-Deplazes 12.34 and Fisher 12.93 PR; Girls Long Jump-Brianna Charlton 12-05.00 and Claire Deplazes 11-10.05.
