The Craig County Rockets golf team competed in a Pioneer golf match at Auburn Hills Golf Club in Riner last week and finished third among four teams.
Parry McCluer won the match with a score of 203, Covington was a close second at 204 and Craig came in third with a score of 237. Eastern Montgomery was fourth at 255.
Noah Moler, a junior at Craig, was the medalist with a low score of 41. Today, Wednesday, Craig will play another Pioneer District match at the Cliffview Golf Course in Covington.
