Community members came out on the first Friday of June to celebrate 80 years of success for the business once known as the Radford Pipe Shop Credit Union. The celebration started off with a ribbon cutting and followed with a variety of lunch snacks and cake desserts.
There were some recognizable faces behind the green ribbon including First NRV FCU’s Manager Owen McKinnie, City Councilman Keith Marshall, and Chamber President David Horton, as well as many faces of the community, supportive businesses, employees joining in on the celebration.
To reward the community that has made 80 years of business possible, the Frist NRV Federal Credit Union is having 80 days of events, free food, and prize giveaways that started in early May.
You can follow all of their social media accounts and actively visit their webpage for more information.
