The Radford City Schools Partners for Excellence Foundation recently hosted the Dalton Intermediate School eighth Grade Business Luncheon in the Bobcat Bistro.
The meal, sponsored by the Radford Noon Rotary Club, gave students the opportunity to practice “soft skills” necessary for future careers. Students wore their finest business attire and used appropriate table etiquette while they enjoyed lunch with the local Rotarians.
Students learned that projecting a positive image, from their dress to how they hold a fork, can make a difference to future employers.
