The Craig County track team competed in a meet in Buena Vista last week and had some solid performances.
Craig’s Lynsey Taylor met the state standard in the 3,200 meters with a season best time of 12:51. Also Hannah Clark, the only middle school student in the meet, beat out four girls to take second place in the 800. Clark had a personal best time of 3:11.
The Rockets return to action May 3 at Eastern Montgomery.
