Roanoke added three more runs in the fifth as Erin Forbes hit a double to score pinch-runner Scarlet Sisson followed by a triple from Guillliams to drive in Forbes. Guilliams then scored on a Hornet error to make it a 7-0 game.
Shenandoah scored its only run of the game in the top of the seventh as Koeninger reached on an error and was brought in by a Kristen Weadon single.
