Mitch Reynolds, 84, of New Castle, VA, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at the Virginia Veterans’ Care Center in Salem, Virginia.
Born in Craig County on November 14, 1932, he was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Veda Reynolds. Mitch was a retired plumber and a veteran of the United States Army who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a long-time member of the Forks of John’s Creek Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Devonne Reynolds, his daughter Deidira Stewart and son-in-law, Darrin Bailey of Roanoke, as well as his granddaughter, Hannah Stewart.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Forks of John’s Creek Christian Church with Pastor Bill Frazier officiating. Interment followed at Huffman Cemetery on John’s Creek with Military Rites performed by VFW Post #4491.
