Rockets Return to the Hardwood After Christmas Vacation

The Craig County High School basketball teams will be returning to action this week after two weeks off for Christmas vacation.

The girls were scheduled to return on Tuesday, January 3rd, with a game against Bath County. The girls are home Friday to play host to Eastern Montgomery, and on Tuesday the 10th they Parry McCluer comes here for a Pioneer District game. Craig comes off the break at 2-4 after a challenging December schedule, which included games with perennial Group 1A powers Auburn and Radford and a game against Group 3A Christiansburg.

The boys are 1-6 as they enter the new year, and their first game of 2017 is tonight, January 4, at home against Bath County.

On Thursday, January 5, Craig is at Eastern Montgomery for a boys’ game, and on Monday, January 9, the Rockets will host Parry McCluer.
