The Craig County volleyball team will be home Thursday to host Narrows in a Pioneer District game. It will be a tripleheader with the Middle School playing at 4:30 pm, the jayvees at 5:30 pm and the varsity at 7 pm.
The varsity is still looking for a win after starting the season 0-6. Last week they dropped a three-setter at Bath County, 25-11, 25-12 and 25-10.
“We played three close games with Bath,” said coach Suzanne Crawford. “Everyone played and everyone has showed great improvement.”
The Rockets were scheduled to play Parry McCluer last Thursday but that was postponed by the storms and rescheduled for October 14. The Rockets are at Glenvar next Monday, October 7th, for a non-district match with the Highlanders, then head to Eastern Montgomery a day later, on October 8th, for a Pioneer match with the Mustangs.
