The latest New Castle Mud Run was held over the weekend, with 102 drivers competing. The number marked a new record, which was surprising given the rain and overcast. Notably, Tyler Elliott had a 2.573 run in the open class. “We were honored to host the Sinister Six Series for their 6th race of their season and have our friends from Little Doo Mud Bog make the trip up to hang out with us,” organizers said. “We could never find the right words to express the appreciation we have for every person, local or travelers, that crosses our bridge. Without each of you this show would not be possible. Y’all continue to show up to support the love of mud and dirt racing and drivers to put on a show for the kids and the fans.” The final race of the season will be on Sept. 28. Cumulative points totals will be finished and posted later this week.
