Donald (Donnie, Duck) Parsons passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Parsons and mother, Patsy S. Zimmerman.
He leaves behind his sister, Deborah P. Butcher, two half-sisters, Sharon P. Oliver and Patricia S. Duncan; two half-brothers, Gary Parsons and Gary L. Shires; also several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gary and Debra Moore; and his Lighthouse Baptist Church family.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Lighthouse Baptist Church, New Castle Rescue Squad, or New Castle Fire Department in Donnie’s name.
Funeral Services were held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Paitsel Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Looney officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery, New Castle. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 2-3 PM.
