The Craig County track team will head to Giles today for the last meet of the regular season. The middle school team was scheduled to run at Pulaski County Middle School on Tuesday for their last meet.
Last Wednesday the Rockets traveled to Daleville for a meet on the new Lord Botetourt High School track. The meet included Bassett, Northside, James River, Roanoke Catholic, North Cross, the host Cavaliers and Craig County.
Craig had some athletes place in the meet, including a third in the shot put by Tyler Fitzpatrick. Others who placed included sophomore Caleb Field with a fourth in discus, freshman Kailyn Jones with a fifth in the 400 meter run and sophomore Brook Wright with a sixth in the discus.
The Pioneer District meet is scheduled for Giles High School on Wednesday, May 15.
